Description
The Elliptical has a 45mm lozenge. Its smaller surface area makes it stronger than the Control Plate, and it encourages a horse that pushes against the bit with its tongue to draw back and tuck the chin in. The 2½ ring cheek adds poll pressure and leverage, and is the softest of the ring bits. 45mm Elliptical lozenge Stronger than the Control Plate Discourages pushing against the bit with the tongue 2½ ring cheek, the softest ring bit Specification Mouthpiece: Elliptical, 45mm lozenge Cheek: 2½ ring Material: Blue sweet iron Sizes: 5″ / 125mm, 5 1/8″ / 130mm, 5 1/4″ / 135mm, 5 1/2″ / 140mm, 5 3/4″ / 145mm, 6″ / 150mm Made from blue sweet iron, which oxidises easily and encourages salivation.
